<emulated-canvas> mirrors a hidden
OffscreenCanvas into a display surface the page can't reach
or style — it lives in a closed shadow root. Each demo
below is live, and the shared controls change the elements'
data-scale, data-gap and
data-shape as you drag.
The left canvas is an <emulated-canvas>, sealed
inside its shadow root; the right is a plain <canvas>
drawn with the exact same calls, for eyeballing. They may differ at
antialiased clip edges — Chrome rasterizes OffscreenCanvas
clips slightly differently.
Real LCD pixels take time to change, so fast motion leaves a fading
smear. data-ghost is the percentage of each previous frame
the panel keeps: at 0 the hand is crisp, and as it rises it
drags a longer trail behind it. It follows the same Scale,
Gap and Shape controls as the demos above.
Touch the canvas below (or drag across it with a mouse): every new cell
you hit spawns a ripple that expands and fades from that logical pixel.
It follows the same Scale, Gap and
Shape controls as the canvas above.
